Constance Markievicz (1868-1927)- Talk led by Tony Corcoran.  

The legendary “Countess” had links to Yeats and romantic naturalism and yet campaigned most of her life for and with the Dublin poor. An aristocratic socialist who fought with Connolly’s Citizen Army, she was an early member of Fianna Fail before her untimely death.
