Paddy Devlin (1925-1999)- Led by Tony Corcoran.
A lifelong trade unionist and anti-sectarian campaigner, he was one of the six MP’s who founded the Social Democratic and Labour party (SDLP) with John Hume. Though awarded the CBE, he clashed repeatedly with the established parties and the Catholic church. For example, he thought the Labour Party should have embraced the Civil Rights movement which he was greatly involved with in 1968-1969.
