Dr Orfhlaith Ní Bhriain is course director at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick. Her book, Jigs to Jacobites: 4000 years of Irish history told through 40 traditional set dances will be brought to life with live dancing and multimedia displays.

It’s full of great stories and songs, some of them written by Kathleen's brother, Peadar, writer of the lyrics to The Soldier's Song. Kathleen also talks candidly and movingly about her son, “little poet,” Brendan.

In 2016 Chris and Denny joined forces with Emily Sanders (fiddle/viola and vocals) and have since become a well-established trio, for the first time blending vocal harmonies and strings to underpin Chris and Denny’s unique sound, as well as providing a female lead vocal for some songs, and bringing a repertoire of English folk songs to complement the band’s more Celtic and traditional roots.
