We wanted to share that we will be showing “Men of the West”, an Irish drama-documentary telling the story of the Irish volunteers in Mayo and their notorious Black and Tans in 1921. There is vivid archive material of events in Dublin and brilliant location sets in the hills of Mayo and the towns of Westport, Castlebar and Newport. The film is produced by Purple Foxglove Films (2022) and music is from the Séan O’Riada collection.
