7200 men joined the Northumberland Fusiliers in 1914.   Almost a third perished but all left behind friends and family who remembered them.

For the past year volunteers of the Cultural Society have been researching and recording those memories.   The results are truly amazing and reveal stories handed down the decades: sometimes heartrending, sometimes uplifting and sometimes unexpected.  Now is the time to reveal their findings.

The exhibition will visit venues across the region and consists of pop-up illustrations, artefacts such as uniforms, a short film, a 24 page booklet and even worksheets for children.
