The next in our 1921 Centenary Lecture series will take place on Wednesday, 10th November (19.30) in the Tyneside Irish Centre, 43 Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4SG. This live lecture by Professor Stephen Regan of the University of Durham will explore the life and work of W B Yeats, widely regarded as one of the finest poets of the 20th Century. A member of the Protestant Anglo Irish minority, Yeats was a fervent advocate of Irish culture and identity.
