Talk – Irish crime and secret societies (East Boldon)

July 23, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

£5
Boldon and Cleadon Community Library opened in November following the proposed closure owing to budget cuts. The aim is to keep the library open as a community hub and library.  As you will no doubt understand this has a cost to it and in order to keep the library open they have regular guest speakers for which they charge a small fee of £5.00.
The guest speaker on 23 July at 7pm is Dr Kyle Hughes who is lecturer in British History at the University of Ulster.  Kyle will be speaking on IRISH CRIME AND SECRET SOCIETIES DATING BACK TO THE EARLY 19th CENTURY.  This talk will give an amazing opportunity to take a look back into the history of Ireland.
The Library is located on Boker Lane, East Boldon. NE36 ORY. This is just off the main A184 Newcastle to Sunderland road.
