Irish flute Workshop with Jacquelyn Hynes
A fun and friendly tune and ornamentation ensemble workshop on traditional Irish Flute and Whistle (wooden and silver flutes and D whistles high and low all welcome)
Covering ornamentation including rolls, cutting and tapping; the casadh, cranning, bouncing, and tune-types including traditional tune-types and original compositions.
Jacquelyn is Senior Lecturer in Folk at Leeds Conservatoire and Tutor in Flute and Whistle at the Irish Cultural Centre, Hammersmith.
Sheet music and ABC supplied.
