Tyneside Irish Festival – Samhain Fest

This is a special night to thank Friends of the Tyneside Irish Centre (FOTIC) for their support during the last 18 months and more. Invitations have been sent to all those who made a significant financial contribution to the centre during and around lockdown. Their generosity has enabled the centre to continue as the hub for Irish culture in North-East England throughout this difficult period. Based on the ancient Gaelic festival of Samhain (a celebration marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter and darker days), the evening will feature traditional entertainment, including music and storytelling, a free welcome drink, and a buffet, all followed by an Irish disco party!
