Tuesday 10th December 2019
We were pleased to have a healthy turnout of people despite the awful weather for a lovely evening with our volunteers, tutors, students and Cultural Society staff at the Irish centre.
The evening was compered by our very dedicated volunteer (and book club member) Miriam Hurley and we were presented with a fantastic showcase from the Irish music students, the drama group, a reading from a student from the creative writing class, a short lesson from Irish language tutor Graeme Hutchinson, a talk about our History of Medieval Ireland class; ending with an energetic display from the set dancing class.
It is encouraging to see the progress made by the students and to hear about how they enjoy coming to the classes.
You can find full details of the classes by clicking the classes link here or at the top of the page.
